Arnica is our number one remedy for bruising, shock, sprains and excessive bleeding. We are an active family and Arnica is one remedy I would never leave home without. It will be my go to for any injury - especially when the person is insisting that they are ok ‘I’m ok - leave me alone - I’m fine’….even though it is very clear that they are not fine!
A few weeks ago I went to check our pony in the paddock and he seemed a bit sore and stiff, with a bit of lameness in the hind quarters. Upon further investigation it was obvious that in the storm the night before the horses had been careering around the paddock, so my guess was he had pulled a muscle. Out came the Arnica and the next day he was fine and able to be ridden.

Arnica is a remedy which may be useful in situations of blood-clotting - it is a remedy that is used in Homeopathy either for excessive blood clotting or when there is excessive bleeding combined with shock.
Pillules in my pocket
It’s always in my jacket pocket or my handbag and it has become a standing joke now that I have a pocket full on little pillules wherever I got. Great to take after any surgical procedure, after dental treatment, childbirth, and any other trauma which causes the blood to pool and bruise and is indicated as the first remedy for fractures.
